1. I don’t waste time standing in queues at  driving institutes and government offices applying for my licence, and then taking time  off to go for driving lessons.

2. There’s no need to tax my already over-taxed brain by learning road signs.

3. I never have to deal with annoying back-seat drivers telling me how to drive.

4. Car loans, service charges, Salik, parking fees and most importantly traffic fines... I save on all of those.

5. My self-esteem won’t get dented when I don’t pass my driving test first time.

6. I will not be labelled a parking stalker, unlike those who drive slowly behind people walking back to their car in overcrowded carparks.

7. I can move to cheaper residential areas that don’t offer reserved parking.

8. No one ever expects me to be a chauffeur,  or to drop them home after a late-night  movie or party.

9. Not driving is my way of making a difference to the planet. One less car on the road means less pollution.

10. If I’m not behind the wheel, then I’ll never be a victim of road rage.
