Actress Kangana Ranaut’s blockbuster Queen might have a sequel.
Production house Phantom Films is working on Queen 2, said sources, adding director Vikas Bahl has come up with a story idea and it will take time to write the first draft.
According to sources, a meeting with Ranaut will take place only once the script is finalised.
Queen, directed by Bahl and produced by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena, made more than Rs1 billion (Dh55 million) and won several awards including the Indian National award.
Ranaut played the lead in the movie and Lisa Haydon and Rajkummar Rao were in supporting roles.
