Actors John Cusack and Jesse Metcalfe are heading to the capital city for the Abu Dhabi Food Festival (ADFF), taking place between December 5-23.
On December 9, Metcalfe will make an appearance at Catch restaurant in Nation Riviera Beach Club. He will dine with guests as part of Gourmet Abu Dhabi’s celebrity-hosted events.
Cusack, known for cult classics such as Sixteen Candles and High Fidelity, will share a table with 12 gourmet food lovers on December 16 at the Emirates Palace Presidential Suite.

The actors will be part of the 19-day food festival, which highlights world-class cuisine and features top chefs from around the globe. ADFF includes themed dinners, food trucks, live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, meet and greets, signings and more.
Cusack and Metcalfe will add “that little bit of stardust seasoning to our already popular event,” said Sultan Al Dhaheri, Acting Executive Director Tourism Sector, TCA Abu Dhabi.
Eva Longoria, who starred opposite Metcalfe in the TV series Desperate Housewives, will hold an annual charity event dubbed Global Gift Gala in Dubai on December 12 at The Four Seasons Resort at Jumeirah Beach, a few days after Metcalfe’s Abu Dhabi visit.
The Global Gift Gala is part of Dubai International Film Festival, which will welcome Hollywood stars between December 7-14 in the UAE, including Samuel L Jackson, Melanie Griffith and Andie MacDowell.
