Sharjah: Shaikha Jawaher Bint Mohammad Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, has appointed the board of trustees of Rubu’ Qarn For Creating Future Leaders.
Established in September this year, Rubu Qarn is an umbrella organisation of four Sharjah-based government entities — the Sharjah Children’s Centres, the Sharjah Youth Centres, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and the Sharjah Tatweer Forum.
Aimed at creating a generation of Emirati leaders and innovators, the organisation aspires to play a role in building a better future for the UAE and the region while adhering to Arab and Islamic values and commitment to humanity.
Shaikha Jawaher’s decision authorises the board of trustees to compile relevant strategic plans for the four entities to enable them to support and empower the youth for the benefit of the UAE and beyond.
The directives highlight the importance of helping children and young people to broaden their horizons, develop their capabilities, and increase their knowledge to build a generation of leaders who can make positive changes that best serve society.
The members of the board include successful leaders like Colonel Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman Al Noman, Noura Al Noman, Erum Mazher Alvie, Jasem Mohammad Al Beloushi, Reem BinKaram and Aisha Khalid Al Qasimi.
