Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has revealed that it was her Raanjhanaa co-star, Abhay Deol, who was apprehensive of doing the movie’s slum cleaning scene and not her.
The 31-year-old star recounted the incident from the 2013 release on an upcoming audio talk show, NoFilterNeha, hosted by actress Neha Dhupia.
Talking about the scene where both actors are shown cleaning a slum in the film, she recounted that Deol was extremely shocked to hear that they would have to actually clean up a slum for the scene.
“I told Abhay that I’m getting into it [cleaning] and you know, everybody thinks I’m a princess but it is not true. He did get into it eventually,” she said in a statement.
Dhupia, who has worked with Deol in Ek Chaalis ki Last Local, also joked during the show about another incident where Deol requested for blueberry wholewheat muffins for snacks.
The episode of NoFilterNeha with Kapoor will air on online audio platform ‘Saavn’ on October 11.
