From language and hobby courses to high-energy sports, summer camps in Abu Dhabi offer exciting activities that not only keep children engaged but also help them explore their creative talent and develop new skills.

Summer is a good time to help improve your children’s fitness level. E-Sports holiday camps (www.esportsuae.com) are a great way to keep children fit and active during the holiday period.

Children can participate in five different sports activities a day, supervised by qualified coaching staff, between 9am and 1.30pm. Activities are designed to introduce children to sports, while allowing them to make new friends and have fun.

With activities that include games such as table tennis, treasure hunting, water polo, banana boat and sand castle building, as well as musical training, Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel and Resort runs a fun-filled summer camp through to August.

Art and interact

With exciting art and craft and interactive indoor and outdoor activities, Ritz Kids at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, offers children aged four to 12 a wonderful opportunity to discover their hidden talents and acquire new hobbies.

The Ritz-Carlton runs the camp until August 14 and offers daily and weekly admission options.

Language skills

To enable your children to brush up their English-language skills, why not enrol them in British Council’s summer course, which is open to children aged six to 17 years. The intensive summer course is designed around fun stories, games and creative activities that help children improve their language and strengthen their confidence.

Alliance Française Abu Dhabi runs intensive summer French courses this month and in August for children aged four and above.
