Actor Harshvardhan Rane was at the Peta (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) office in Mumbai to meet up with his friends when he learned that there were two rescued kittens looking for homes. He quickly took out his camera and clicked some pictures of the kittens to be used for an adoption ad.

“We’re grateful to Harshvardhan who has clicked amazing photos of the kittens, which will help us find them homes” Sachin Bangera, Peta India associate director of celebrity and public relations, said in a statement.

Both the kittens were found abandoned on the streets and now they are looking for permanent homes.

Bangera also mentioned that Rane’s visit to the Peta office was at the “purrfect time”.

“He is a true angel for animals,” he added.

This isn’t the first time that Rane has stepped up to support the cause of animals. The Sanam Teri Kasam actor had earlier featured in a campaign to prevent the abuse of elephants.
