Dubai: Global Village opens its doors on Tuesday to the public until April 8, 2017.

Under the theme of ‘A New World Everyday’, the region’s first multicultural festival park will host a line-up of scheduled events ranging from concerts by international stars to dance shows and international award-winning shows that will be performed by over 50 international performers.

“Throughout this season we will continue to provide our guests with large-scale entertainment shows and events that will enrich their cultural experience, a value which Global Village was built upon,” said Ahmad Hussain Bin Eisa, CEO of Global Village.

On November 4, Emirati superstar Abdullah Bil Khair, will be the first celebrity to be hosted at Global Village, while Indian singing sensation, Sunidhi Chauhan, will take the stage the following week on November 11.

Guests will also get to enjoy the performances of ‘Park Life’ and ‘Movies Live,’ which will use audio and visual stimuli and acrobats.

“Over two decades, Global Village has managed to become a landmark in the world of entertainment, providing an integrated shopping, food, and cultural experience to its guests,” said Bin Eisa.

Global Village will also offer guests a unique shopping experience. There are over 75 countries across 30 pavilions, including the new Algeria pavilion, the Far East pavilion which will represent the Philippines, South Korea, Japan and Indonesia, as well as the East Europe pavilion which has Serbia, Romania, and Ukraine as participants. The Jordan pavilion will also be returning.

When it comes to the variety of cuisines, this season will include more than 150 restaurants, cafes and kiosks, giving guests the option between both an international street-food experience as well as international dine-in options. These include Galito’s, the South African restaurant, and Wok in a Box, the Asian restaurant. The list also includes Reem Al Bawadi, Istanbul Flower Restaurant, Maraheb, Bab Tuma, and many other international dining choices.
