Dubai: A man was killed during a collision involving two trucks on Al Khail Road in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The accident also resulted in traffic delays.
Colonel Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Acting Director of Dubai Traffic Police Department, said the accident took place at 3.15am on Al Khail Road coming from Deira towards Bur Dubai. The driver who was responsible for the accident was the one who died.
Col Al Mazroui said many deaths resulting from traffic accidents have become a concern for government authorities. He added that traffic departments have developed strategies and plans to reduce accidents and have launched several initiatives to raise awareness about traffic safety.
