Dubai: As the Dubai Shopping Festival enters its final week, gold shoppers can now double their chances of winning gold and diamonds with every Dh500 gold purchase from the Dubai Celebration Chain.
Shoppers who buy a segment of the world’s longest handmade gold chain — 5.522km in length and weighing approximately 256 kilos — will receive two raffle coupons for every purchase worth Dh500.
The 22 carat gold chain is available for booking in options of eight grams for a bracelet size, 20 grams, 22 grams, 24 grams and 25 grams. Pieces of the chain can be bought at the current 22 carat jewellery price plus Dh15 per gram as the making charges.
A major portion of the chain has already been pre-booked and sold out. The chain has more than four million links and was manually linked by 100 craftsmen over 45 days for 10 hours each day.
The Gold and Jewellery Mega Raffle is the biggest ever gold and jewellery promotion, offering shoppers spending Dh500 at any of the participating outlets the chance to win up to Dh15 million in prizes, including 100 kilos of gold and 40 carats of diamond across the 32 days of DSF.
