Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Khalifa Bin Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, director of the Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, has paid field visits to the families of martyrs in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain.

The tour is part of the Tawaul Initiative, ‘Communication’, which aims at enhancing direct and permanent communication with the families of martyrs.

Shaikh Khalifa said that visiting residences of the martyrs’ families is in line with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to communicate with the families and secure a dignified life for them.

The families of martyrs expressed their appreciation of the initiative, which embodies the strong ties between the prudent leadership and Emiratis. They also stressed that the Tawasul Initiative, launched by the Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office, reflects the keenness of the wise leadership and the people of the UAE’s on expressing their pride and gratitude to the martyrs, who sacrificed their lives to defend the nation’s security, pride and dignity.
