Dubai: Jumeirah Primary School announced that it will be organising its 9th annual Spring Fair on Friday to support a Dubai Cares’ initiative.

The community event, hosted by the Parent Teachers Association of the school, will be open to children and adults between 2pm and 6pm and will include carnival games, live performances, food and a chance to win prizes from a Silent Auction, among other entertainment activities.

A souq will also be open as part of the Spring Fair, which is expected to attract 5,000 people.

The school said that the event, running alongside Dubai Cares, will continue to support the Adopt a School programme, an initiative which seeks to make access to education a possibility for more children worldwide by building schools in their communities.

The school has already helped build schools in Nepal and Malawi and said they will continue to do so by sending proceeds from the fair.
