Dubai: Dubai’s Higher Committee of Legislations has issued the 380th edition of Dubai Government’s official gazette, coinciding with the committee being handed its legislative responsibilities.

The edition includes a total of 30 legislations, issued in line with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, to continue developing the legislative structure of the emirate, as well as to keep abreast with the requirements of the community and recent updates of the development operations in various sectors.

The legislations included in the edition cover a variety of vital sectors such as transportation, judicial, financial affairs, health and medical affairs, free zones, and public benefit organisations. A total of three laws, 10 decrees and two resolutions issued by Shaikh Mohammad are included in the gazette, in addition to 14 Executive Council resolutions issued by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council. All legislations have been prepared and issued according to clear and effective methods. The speed in which they were issued is in line with the directives of Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the committee, which emphasise breaking away from routine methods and taking into account the factor of speed.

Ahmad Bin Mishar Al Muhairi, Secretary-General of the committee, said that the legislations have been prepared by specialised teams from the committee and various relevant authorities, in order to ensure that they are in line with Dubai Vision 2021, and its strategies, plans and future aspirations.
