Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) said that it is ready to meet the rising crude demand of its Asian customers including India, China and other customers. “We are keen to enhance energy security in the region and in Asia. We continue to build strong relationship with clients in importing countries like India, Thailand, China, South Korea to name a few,” said Zaida Abdullah, manager of marketing research and analytics department at Adnoc.

“At the time of rising competition, this could only have been achieved with strong business relationship we hold with our customers.”

She said the company is embarking on a strategic crude storage partnership with different countries in Asia including India.

“We are investing in logistical infrastructure to support our clients. The production capacity will increase to 3.6 million barrels a day by 2018.”

Middle East oil producers are in a competition to retain market share as oil production increases across the globe. Iran, which recently entered the international market after sanctions were lifted, said it would pump in more oil to capture the lost market.
