Dubai: Banks in UAE will get two holidays for Eid according to a circular issued by the Central Bank of UAE. “On the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, banks shall keep their branches closed from the first of Shawwal 147 AH until the third of Shawwal,” the central bank circular said.

If Eid falls on Wednesday, July 6, bank holidays will be on July 6 and 7 and the branches will be open on Saturday, July 9. The central bank has urged banks to ensure that their ATMs are properly stocked with cash during the bank holidays.
