“There are around 11,800 industrial licences in Dubai that can benefit from the new decision which allows them to engaged in commercial and professional activities from the company current location.”

This reduce cost on the business owners as well as allow further expansion in the market, he added.

Mohammad Al Shael, Mohammad Shael Al Sa’adi, CEO Business Registration and Licensing of the Department for Economic Development in Dubai (DED), told Gulf News that today businesses will be free to have a unified licence for industrial, commercial, professional activities under one business licence. Additional activities can be added by signing a memorandum of association.
