Abu Dhabi: The head of the Social Relations and Guidance department introduced a detailed review about the purposes of the National campaign for Security Awareness.
He said the campaign is being organised to promote understanding of true cooperation between society and the police.
"The campaign targets to lay the links of cooperation between the police and society, to enforce the concept of community policing through the participation of society to help fight crime," Captain Nasser Bin Khadim Al Ka'abi said.
During the campaign, officials make field visits to public places, schools, social and cultural centres and related organisations to spread the message of the theme and deliver lectures.
The programme also includes mobilising women's organisations to make the campaign a success.
