Emirates opens sales office in Bahrain
Airline aims to enhance customer experience
Manama Emirates on Tuesday officially inaugurated its new customer sales office in Manama.
Emirates has invested significantly in equipping the new, conveniently located office, with the latest technologies, to help streamline the booking process and facilitate efficiencies, company officials said.
Located in the popular Seef Mall, Emirates' new customer sales office covers 748 square metres and features 10 customer service counters dedicated to flight bookings, Emirates Holidays reservations and general customer enquiries.
Officials hope the new setting will facilitate a relaxed environment for all staff and Emirates customers.
"This new office is part of our commitment to Bahrain as we move forward vibrantly," Ahmad Khoury, Emirates Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for the Gulf, Middle East and Iran, told Gulf News.
Thierry Antinori, Executive Vice President of Passenger Sales Worldwide, said that the new office reflected a drive to provide customers with "unsurpassed levels of service, both in the air and on the ground".
Emirates has also expanded its SkyCargo office, with Bahrain as a key component and a key gateway for goods transiting by road from Saudi Arabia. Over 600,000 kg of goods are moved through Bahrain each week, officials said.
"Expanding our Emirates SkyCargo premises at Bahrain International Airport underscores our commitment to the Bahrain market," Antinori said.
Emirates has been operating in Bahrain for 12 years.
