1. 3D printed baby heart on display at Future of Surgery Zone

The 3D printed heart that allowed doctors from New York- Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital better plan for an operation on a very complex and unique heart malformation was displayed today at the new Future of Surgery Zone at Arab Health. Medical staff used 3D printing technology to produce a 3D replica of the child’s heart in order to simplify the procedure.

2. First Gulf Hypertension Conference launched

Officially endorsed by the European Hypertension Society, the first Gulf Hypertension Conference is a new addition in the Arab Health Congress 2015 and will provide the most updated clinical and scientific data in the field of hypertension. The conference will run from January 26-27.
