Abu Dhabi: The College of Pharmacology at Al Ain University for Science and Technology BSc programme in pharmacology has been accredited by the Academic Accrediting Committee at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

This achievement comes to crown the continued efforts of the university in the development and standards of teaching and research process directed towards serving the community.

The university won this accreditation after numerous visits and a detailed follow-up made by Academic Accrediting Body Committees at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The University took into consideration and applied all requirements of scientific accrediting approved by the ministry.

Dr Noor Al Deen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor thanked the accrediting body at the ministry and the teaching faculty at the college of pharmacology for the efforts made to obtain the achievement.

He added the College of Pharmacology has the latest techniques and educational teaching aids as well as an excellent teaching faculty of specialised professors who have graduated from distinguished international universities.

He also pointed out that the BSc programme in pharmacology was designed to include a high level of interaction between the teaching body and students, as well as a concentration on scientific research by students.

He added that this accrediting has crowned the efforts of the university administration’s efforts and its role in supplying the labour market.
