Abu Dhabi: The UAE Green Festival from March 16 to April 16 will focus on preserving the environment and developing sustainable green practices.

Among the highlights of the festival will be an Eco Fashion Show from April 8 to 12 in Abu Dhabi Mall, the Dubai Green Auto Show from April 3 to 10 at the Mohammad Bin Rashid Boulevard in Dubai and the International Green Market from March 27 to April 12 at Al Qasba in Sharjah.

Lamiaa Chlyeh, Managing Director of LatestOn and organiser of the UAE Green Festival said: “The festival is one of the main platforms meant to raise awareness among people, following the UAE government’s vision to maintain a clean environment. “The festival has been specifically designed to educate the public about new lifestyles.”

At the Eco-Fashion Show in Abu Dhabi, leading fashion designers will introduce eco-conscious fashion items made using various green processes.

The Green Auto Show in Dubai will familiarise a new phase of eco-friendly means of transportation. Leading global brands will showcase state-of-the-art hybrid and electric cars with cutting-edge eco-friendly technologies.

Important government bodies, including UAE Transport, Dubai Police and Roads and Transport Authority will participate alongside leading car manufacturers such as BMW.
