Dubai: Carmen Electra got Dubai all of a tizzy on Sunday morning when it was reported she was due to visit the UAE that very night.
Sadly, she’s missed her flight, so Baywatch fans will have to go back to watching reruns to get their kicks -- for now.
Electra was scheduled to host the Just Sundays night at the Cavalli Club, Restaurant & Lounge at the Fairmont Hotel. The club tells tabloid! they have tentatively rescheduled her for April 7.
The 40-year-old, who recently re-lived her red swimsuit days for a magazine shoot, is latest Baywatch star to hit the UAE, following Pamela Anderson’s trip to Dubai last week for a club appearance. The still-stunning Electra began her career as a dancer before being picked for her role in the hit TV series. The former Playboy cover girl told ‘In Touch’ magazine she would do the mag again if asked.
“Yes! I love Playboy — they supported me from the beginning. I heard I’ve had the third-most covers of anyone, after Pamela [Anderson] and Anna Nicole Smith. I’m very proud of that!”
Electra was last seen in a direct-to-video horror film called ‘2-Headed Shark Attack’ in which a group of holiday goers are attacked by, you guessed it, a two-headed shark.
