Dubai: Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, launched yesterday (Wednesday) the ‘Emirati wherever I am’ campaign, on the occasion of the UAE’s 43rd National Day celebrations.

“On this occasion, I would like to invite my Emirati brothers and sisters to participate in National Day celebrations. No matter how far away you are, you are always in our hearts. We look forward to your participation in the celebrations through the following website: (www.emaratiwhereveriam.ae),” said Shaikh Abdullah on twitter.

The campaign calls on all Emiratis abroad to participate by sending videos of their National Day celebrations on the website. The video length should not exceed three minutes. The videos will be used to create a short film on the celebrations of Emiratis around the world. The film will be released in December. The ‘Emirati wherever I am’ hashtag launched by Shaikh Abdullah was warmly received by users who expressed their love for the UAE and its leadership, and praised the campaign’s idea.

The website launched specifically for the campaign includes guidelines and details regarding the uploaded videos.
