Today’s poll is based on the page A10 Special Report, ‘A sound way of beating exam stress’, published in the Nation section of Gulf News on March 5.
While exam stress is part of life, the number of pupils facing anxiety during testing period, increased by 9 per cent in 2015, according to UK-based National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).
However, nearly half of Gulf News’ poll respondents said their primary cause of stress was related to financial issues.
According to the Dubai Statistics Centre (DSC), housing rentals increased by 3.8 per cent and education fees went up 5.9 per cent in Dubai in 2016.
