It's pasta and pizza for most people

London: Italian foods such as pasta and pizza are now the world's favourite, according to an international survey.

Researchers quizzed travellers across the globe and found pizza and pasta were preferred to French cuisine, reports express.co.uk. Italian food scored 21 per cent, with French at 12 per cent and Thai at 11 per cent.

Russian food was declared the world's worst, trailing with no votes in the poll of more than 2,500 travellers, carried out by Hotels.com.
