Italy says all 3 MSF hostages in Darfur free
Rome: The Italian Foreign Ministry says three foreign Doctors Without Borders staff members taken hostage this week in Darfur, Sudan, are now free.
The ministry did not give details on Friday about the health workers' release. It said only that it could confirm the three were free.
The workers from Canada, Italy and France were kidnapped on Wednesday in the volatile Darfur region.
Doctors Without Borders is also known as Medecins Sans Frontieres, or MSF.
