Bomb blast kills Somali police commander

Mogadishu: A roadside bomb explosion in Merka town killed a Somali police commander on Tuesday, police said.

The remote-controlled bomb exploded as Lieutenant Colonel Nuriye Ali Farah's vehicle passed through, killing him.
