Abu Dhabi: Saudi Arabia has administered more than 9.4 million COVID-19 vaccines shots since December, according to figures from the country’s Health Ministry.
Some 9,436,704 jabs have been given at different inoculation centres across the Kingdom, it said.
Data showed that more than 198,000 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered for citizens and residents during the past 24 hours.
Mass vaccinations
Saudi Arabia initiated mass vaccinations against COVID-10 on December 17.
Authorities have offered the vaccination to citizens and foreign residents for free.
Saudi Arabia has recently stepped up efforts to expand the availability of the vaccines amid strict measures to limit the spread of COVID-19.
