Dubai: The daily count of coronavirus infections in the GCC countries has continued to rise, with Saudi Arabia reporting 356 new cases of COVID-19 and four related deaths on Monday. This brings the total number of confirmed infections inthe Kingdom to 370,634, and fatality tally to 6,406.
According to the latest update by the Ministry of Health, a further 298 patients have fully recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of recoveries to 361,813.
With the rise in the newly detected cases, the active cases have risen to 2,415, 401 of which are critical under intensive care.
The Ministry of Health has announced a significant rise in the daily tally of new coronavirus cases, with 996 infections reported today. The ministry said the total number of infections has now gone up to 171,994
Three more deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, taking death toll to 969. A further 582 people have fully recovered, shooting up total recoveries to 162,120.
Due to the increase in the daily reported cases, the active cases have now climbed to 8,905, including 83 that are critical ones and are still under intensive care.
An additional 616 people have tested positive and one person died in Bahrain, bringing the total confirmed cases in the Kingdom to 107,329 and fatality tally to 380.
A further 396 fresh recoveries have been confirmed in the Kingdom, shooting up total recoveries to 101,168. The active cases have today touched 5,781, 5,740 of which are stable and 41 are critical cases under intensive care.
The daily tally of COVID-19 cases has continued to rise in Qatar, with 427 new infections reported today. This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 154,525.
One people has succumbed to complications caused by the virus in the past 24 hours, taking death toll at 251. According to the ministry’s latest update, 123 patients have fully recovered, pushing the total number of people recovered across the country to 147,033.
With the rise in the daily detected infections, the active cases today climbed to 7,241, including 570 stable cases under treatment and 63 are critical cases under intensive care.
The Ministry of Health has confirmed the detection of 316 new coronavirus cases and one fatality in the Sultanate today.
The total cases in the Sultanate have now touched 135,990, including 1535 deaths, according to the latest update by the ministry.
A further 155 fresh recoveries were also reported in the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of people recovered across the country to 127,853.
The ministry continues to urge everyone to adhere to precautionary measures and social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling COVID-19.
