Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health recorded 364 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours as the single-day infections surpassed the 350-mark for the fourth consecutive day.
The ministry also announced five more deaths caused by complications caused by COVID-19 over the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 371,720 and fatalities to 6,420 respectively.
The ministry also reported 274 new recoveries over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 362,642.
With the continued increase in the number of new cases, the active cases in Saudi Arabia rose to 2,658 out of which 437 were critical.
A total of 987 new cases of coronavirus and five deaths have been reported in Kuwait, taking overall tally of infections to 173,983 and fatality tally to 980.
The Ministry of Health said a further 553 people have fully recovered, pushing total recoveries to 163,264. The active cases have now climbed to 9,739, including 108 critical cases under intensive care.
The Ministry of Health confirmed the detection of 797 new coronavirus cases and four more deaths in Bahrain, bringing the total confirmed cases in the Kingdom to 108,807 and fatality tally to 391.
A further 436 fresh recoveries have been reported in the Kingdom, pushing total recoveries to 102,725. The active cases have today touched 6,488, with 6,430 of which are stable and 58 are critical cases under intensive care.
The daily tally of COVID-19 cases has continued to rise in Qatar, with 448 new infections reported today. This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 155,901.
One death was reported in the past 24 hours, taking death toll at 254.
According to the ministry’s latest update, 276 patients have fully recovered, pushing the total number of people recovered across the country to 147,727.
The active cases have now touched 7,920, out of these 572 are stable under treatment and 78 are critical cases under intensive care.
The Ministry of Health today registered 245 new coronavirus cases and two fatalities in the Sultanate today.
The total cases in the Sultanate have now touched 136,622, including 1539 deaths, according to the latest update by the ministry.
An additional 206 recoveries have also been recorded, pushing the total number of people recovered across the country to 128,461.
The ministry continues to urge everyone to adhere to precautionary measures and social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling COVID-19.
