Kuwait today reported 686 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 116,832, the Ministry of Health said.
In its latest update, the ministry also announced nine more deaths from complications caused by COVID-19, bringing the total number of fatalities to 710. Currently, there are 7,516 active cases, out of which 133 are still receiving treatment in intensive care units.
A total of 6,002 PCR tests were conducted over the past 24 hours, pushing total people tested across the country so far to 834,164.
Meanwhile, 746 more patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 108,606.
Oman’s Health Ministry announced that 13 people have succumbed to the infection today, increasing total fatalities to 1,114. An additional 641 people have tested positive, shooting up total cases in the Sultanate to 110,594
The total active cases have now touched 13,080, including 201 that are active, while recovered cases climbed to 96,400 as 776 new recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours.
Saudi Arabia today registered 381 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the kingdom to 342,583, according to the Ministry of Health.
According to the ministry, 16 more died from complications caused by the virus, taking the total number of fatalities to 5,201.
A further 357 patients have fully recovered, raising the total number of recoveries to 328,895 with the recovery rate hitting now 96 per cent.
Active cases have also fallen significantly with 8,487 reported on Monday, out of which 844 are critical.
Total cases in Bahrain have now hit 77,902 after a further 331 new infections were detected over the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health announced that two people have died from the virus, raising fatality tally to 300.
The ministry confirmed additional 479 fresh recoveries, increasing overall recoveries to 74,320.
The Ministry of Public Health confirmed the detection of 240 coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours, taking tally of infections to 129,671. No new deaths have been reported today, keeping death toll as 224.
The ministry also announced that 244 patients have fully recoveries, pushing total recoveries to 126,650.
Active cases have declined to 2,797, out of which 384 are critical.
