Cairo: Saudi police had arrested five illegal Yemeni residents suspected of involvement in stealing from elderly worshippers and shoppers in Riyadh, a security official has said.

The five, in their 20s and 30s of age, had been implicated in a series of offences including stealing the old people in mosques and marketplaces, as well as seizing money and credit cards from wallets and bags, added Major Khaled Al Karidis, an assistant spokesman for the Riyadh police.
