Dubai: Qatar announced 235 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 121,768.

Two more people have died from complications caused by the virus during the past 24 hours, taking the country’s death tally to 207, the Ministry of Public Health said during its latest coronavirus update on Monday.

A further 249 infected patients have fully recovered, pushing the country’s overall recovered cases to 118,931. Active cases are now 2,837, including 411 critical and 55 serious who are still under intensive care.
