Cairo: Oman has today said that its overall number of coronavirus infections have risen to 82,924, showing an increase of 181 new cases against the tally reported the day before.
The Omani Health Ministry put the total deaths from COVID-19 at 562 with five new fatalities.

The total number of recovered patients has reached 77,550 the ministry said, according to the Omani news agency ONA.
The ministry added that the number of patients receiving intensive care treatment are 158.
Last week, a Health Ministry report said that epidemiological data indicated a drop in infections in Oman.
The Omani authorities lifted a ban on night-time movement that was imposed to contain the spread of COVID-19.
