Dubai: Bahrain has announced the detection of 362 coronavirus cases, pushing the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 14,765, according to the Ministry of Health.
Among today’s cases, 177 were detected among expatriate workers, and 175 were found to have been exposed to active cases while 10 are travel-related.
In a series of tweets, the ministry said that there have been 412 additional recoveries in the country, increasing total recoveries to 9,468.
“There are currently 80 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 13 are in a critical condition. 5,239 cases are stable out of a total of 5,252 active cases,” the ministry tweeted.
One more death has also been confirmed for 73-year-old female resident, taking the overall number of deaths to 25.
Earlier last night, the ministry also reported the death of 34-year-old male expatriate. The deceased, along with all other active COVID19 cases, had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team
