No one hurt as flames quickly extinguished
Islamabad: A spokesman says a small fire briefly broke out on the first floor of the US Embassy building in the Pakistani capital.
No one was hurt, and the fire was quickly extinguished.
Embassy spokesman Rick Snelsire in Islamabad says the fire broke out at 1pm Sunday near some electrical and air-conditioning equipment in the embassy's main building.
He says it is too soon to say what caused it, but that terrorism is not suspected.
