Bodies from Kabul attack to arrive in India

New Delhi: The remains of four Indians who were killed in Monday's suicide attack in Kabul were due to arrive in India on Tuesday.

An Indian Air Force (IAF) spokesman said: “We had dispatched an Il-76 (transport aircraft) to bring the bodies back this (Monday) evening. However, due to bad weather, the aircraft could not take off from Kabul. The aircraft will now return tomorrow (Tuesday).''

Meanwhile Pakistan has denied any involvement in the deadly attack on Kabul's Indian Embassy which left at least 41 people dead.

Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani said they were not behind the attacks.

"We need a stable Afghanistan," he told Reuters on the sidelines of an Islamic summit in Malaysia's capital, Kuala Lumpur.

"Certainly, why should Pakistan destabilise Afghanistan? It is in our interest, a stable Afghanistan. We want stability in the region."
