UAE students in Australia not affected by recent storm, says diplomat

Canberra: UAE students in Queensland, Australia, are safe and have not been affected by the recent storm, Abdul Rahman Al Ghardaga, Cultural Attache at the UAE Embassy in Australia, said.

He reassured the UAE people of the safety of Emirati students, after a devastating storm hit south-east Queensland.

Al Ghardaga said a special envoy has been sent to the region to provide all necessary assistance if needed.
