Turning 30: Happy birthday dear readers!
Dubai: Floss, brush, gargle … hope you are ready! Because if you are one of the 23 readers who share their birthday with Gulf News, we are going to come knocking at your door!
As part of the newspaper's celebrations to mark its 30th anniversary, readers were invited to contact Gulf News if they, too, were turning 30 on September 30. And 23 residents did just that. Each of them will receive a gift hamper, a bouquet of flowers and a free lifetime subscription to Gulf News!
"We wanted to celebrate our readers' special day and our shared anniversary," Colette Van Dyke, Group Marketing Manager for Gulf News, said. "The idea was developed as part of the anniversary promotions planning."
The readers who are away on holiday or work will receive their "birthday visit" upon their return. As the newspaper enters its next decade we hope that our readers will continue this pleasant journey with us - we promise it will be full of sweet surprises.
So if you plan to go out or run a quick errand today, keep your mobile phones switched on! It would be a shame to return home to wilted flowers and melted eats! We hope you have fun. Happy birthday!
Have fun: It's your day
