Labourers injured in bus crash

Ras Al Khaimah: Ten Bangladeshi labourers suffered various injuries when their bus overturned in Wadi Al Beeh area yesterday.

A senior officer at the emirate's Traffic and Licensing Department said that initial police investigations into the accident show that the bus driver failed to keep the vehicle under control.

The officer said that once the accident was reported, ambulances and police vehicles arrived on the scene and the injured workers were rushed to Saqr Hospital.

The officer added that the weather conditions in the area were not stable and that the driver did not pay attention to these facts. He urged drivers to stick to speed limits, particularly in bad weather.
