Free parking near mosques extended

Dubai: Motorists going to mosques can now pray with peace of mind, as they do not have to worry about getting parking tickets in paid parking zones.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has extended free parking around mosques to an hour from half hour, during prayer times.

An RTA official said that the one-hour exemption would be divided into fifteen minutes before the adan timing and 45 minutes after Adan for prayer.
