Teen star Sebastian Heisele re-wrote the Emirates Golf Club record books yesterday by becoming the youngest ever Club Champion in the history of the club.

On a day when any of 10 players started in position to challenge for the honours, it was 15-year-old Sebastian who kept his head and repeated his day 1 score of 76 to win by six shots with an aggregate 152.

The expected tussle between Sebastian and overnight leader David Wall was shaping up nicely as the junior reached the turn one shot ahead. He then turned up the heat by birdieing holes 10 and 13 to find himself five ahead with five to play.

Despite bogeying the 14th and 17th holes, the 6 feet, 6-inch tall youngster hit an awesome 340-yard drive on the last to set up his historic victory.

Dave Wall's hopes of winning his first club major were left in tatters with a second day 84, as he had to settle for a daily prize for his superb opening 75.

Robbie McArthur coupled his day 1 score of 76 with an 82 to claim outright second with 158 while Paddy McGrath powered through the field with a day's best 78 to claim third place with 159. He beat Steve Brooks on a countback after Steve followed up his day one 76 with an 83.

Another junior was in the mix as Eric Hesson's level par net 144 was enough to clinch the much sought after 'A' Division net prize just pipping fellow junior, Jae Jun Hong (145).

Asim Pirmohammed won 'B' Division in more convincing fashion with net 145 from Glyn Sowerby, with 152.

On Day 1, David Wall won best gross (75) and Robert Clench took best net with 69 while the final day spoils were shared by Alex MacDonald (Best gross - 80) and Matthew Turner (Best net - 74).
