Stuntwoman mesmerises the crowd

Al Ain: Jenny Forsythe, a young American stuntwoman, yesterday mesmerised spectators at the Al Ain 2006, by walking and dancing on the wings of a flying plane.

The aircraft was flown by her father Bob Essell, who has a long family tradition of flying in Twinsburg, Ohio.

According to Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Bob Essell's show is famous internationally as he and his daughter have performed in many countries. This is first time they have come to the UAE.

Essell learned to fly in the mid-1960s in an Aeronca L-3 with his father, Albert.

Bob Essell and Jenny stand out in the world of wing walking as the only team using a monoplane, and the only father and daughter duo. The Bob Essell team performs daily at the Al Ain air show.
