Physically challenged athletes score

Al Ain: Physically disabled athletes on Wednesday staged displays of skills in different games on the opening day of the Fourth International Athletics Meeting yesterday in the oasis city.

The competitors demonstrated high levels of skills in different track and field games events despite their respective physical challenges. They were earlier, given time to practice and acclimatise themselves with UAE conditions.

The event is being held at the new Al Ain Club for the Disabled Stadium.
