One killed in horrific car crash in Al Bateen

Al Ain: A young Emirati was killed on Wednesday morning when his car hit a lamp post in the middle of a road in the Al Bateen district.

The police said the deceased (H.A.M) was just 21 years old and was driving a saloon car. He reportedly lost his control over the steering wheel and the car collided with the pole in the middle of the road.

As a result of the accident the car was damaged and the electric pole also fell down. The police said the lone occupant of the car received serious injuries and died on the spot.
