Notary phone bookings to start next month

Abu Dhabi: The Notary Public Department at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department will begin the tele-appointment service through their ADJD call centre from next month.

The service includes notary public, marriage, attestations and embracing Islam sections. The service will be offered at Najdat Street, Abu Dhabi and later expanded throughout the city.

The notary public completed 8,447 procedures in October on a daily average of 325 procedures through branches in Abu Dhabi City, Al Ain and the Western region.

The Notary Public Department provides a wide range of services including commercial and civil activities. Accordingly, the department writes and attests all forms of written documents such as power of attorney, depositions, partnerships, incorporations, sales, waivers and labour contracts to make it legal writs.

The timings for the service at Najdat Street are from 7.30am until 9.30pm. Reservations can be made on the phone by calling 8002353 and 02-651 2222.
