Move abandoned vehicles out of the way
Authorities need to clear parking spots for people who need them
I would like to draw the attention of Gulf News readers and the authorities in Abu Dhabi to a serious problem occurring around the city.
All year round, residents and motorists are facing issues regarding parking their vehicles safely.
I have seen many dusty vehicles, whose registration has, no doubt, long expired.
Sometimes, one comes across cars that have been parked in the same spot for more than a year, especially in places such as Hamdan Street, Electra Street and Al Najda Street.
I urge the authorities to move or confiscate these vehicles, so that people who actually need the parking spaces are able to use these.
It would also help residents save their money and improve their temper!
