Mohammad to open FNC session
Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will open tomorrow the third ordinary session of the 14th legislative chapter of the Federal National Council.
Earlier, President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued a federal decree calling for the FNC to convene its third session.
Shaikh Mohammad will give the inaugural speech and Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, FNC Speaker, will deliver a speech.
The FNC will set up eight permanent committees that include the interior affairs and defence, financial, economic and industrial affairs, legislative and legal affairs, education, youth, media and culture affairs, among others.
