Mehrdad signs for Al Shabab

Iranian national team player Mehrdad Minavand signed for Al Shabab club to play with their senior football team in the coming season 2002-2003.

Al Shabab club stated yesterday that it has signed the Iranian player. The details of the deal will be announced in a press conference later.

Minavand who played for Iran national team in the World Cup qualifiers last year, and Perozi club in Tehran as left wingback and midfielder, will join his compatriot Ali Daei who signed for Al Shabab last month in a two years deal starting from the coming season 2002-2003.
