Well known Malayalam film actor N.F. Varghese died yesterday in Aluva, his birthplace near here, following a massive heart attack. He was 51.
The end came at noon when he was driving his car to the nearby hospital after he felt a chest pain while working in his farm. He lost control of the car near the hospital and it came to halt dashing against a wall. The locals rushed him to the hospital but by then he had died.
Varghese had acted in more than 100 films as villains and character actors. He entered the acting field through mimicry and first shot to fame through his role as a villain in Akashdoot. Later, he was widely hailed for his role, again as a villain, in Patram.
He is survived by his wife Rosy and their four daughters.
